Assetz Capital has appointed two relationship managers and renewed its transition and development offers.

The peer-to-peer lending platform has hired Paul Williams to cover South West and South Wales and James Evans to operate primarily in and around Merseyside in the North West.

Williams has 18 years’ experience in several senior roles at HSBC and comes from Hodge Bank where he spent seven years as Head of Development Finance, while Evans left Santander where he worked as a relationships over the past 18 years.

Assetz Capital now offers development financing from 6.9% for terms up to 36 months, while its residential transition rates start from 0.6%.

“We are always striving to improve our lending proposition as well as the exceptional service provided by our front-line relationships team,” said Mark Standley, National Commercial Director at Assetz Capital.

“Our product enhancements offer a wide range of solutions to support our network of intermediaries, and our relationship managers are well placed to deliver them.

“It’s great to add top talent to the team; James and Paul bring significant lending experience to the table, and they will add enormous value to the group.

“We are always looking to grow all aspects of our commercial, transition and development offerings, so bringing on exceptional people like James and Paul to help us mass-market our solutions is absolutely critical.”
