Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday April 21, 2022 / 2021 Universal Registration Document.

Clichy, March 17, 2022 – L’Oréal, the world leader in beauty, announces the procedures for providing information on the General Meeting of Thursday April 21, 2022 and on the 2021 Universal Registration Document.

TERMS FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION CONCERNING THE ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING OF THURSDAY, APRIL 21, 2022

The Ordinary General Meeting of L’Oréal (hereinafter the “Company”) will be held on Thursday April 21, 2022 at 10 a.m. (Paris time) at the Palais des Congrès de Paris (2, place de la Porte Maillot, 75017 Paris ). Shareholders of the Company who wish to physically attend the General Meeting must comply with the sanitary measures in force at the time of the General Meeting.

The notice of meeting was published in the BALO (Bulletin des Annonces Légales Obligatoires) on Wednesday March 16, 2022 and includes the agenda, the draft resolutions and the main methods of participation and voting at this General Meeting.

This notice of meeting, the report of the Board of Directors on the draft resolutions and the legal information relating to this General Meeting are available on the loreal-finance.com website (section Regulated Information / General Meeting Documents). The other documents and information relating to this General Meeting will be made available to shareholders and also published on the aforementioned site, under legal and regulatory conditions, from Wednesday March 30, 2022.

This General Meeting will be broadcast live in video format on the loreal-finance.com website, unless technical reasons make this broadcast impossible or seriously disrupt it. The replay of this meeting will be available on the loreal-finance.com website as soon as possible after the closing of the General Meeting.

Shareholders can vote by mail, online or by giving proxy to the Chairman of the General Meeting or to any other natural or legal person, without physically attending the General Meeting. Shareholders have the possibility of sending written questions (“written questions”) provided that they are sent no later than Friday April 15, 2022 at midnight (Paris time) by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, justifying the as a shareholder, and via the email address: [email protected]

In addition to the legal framework for written questions, shareholders will also be able to send questions to the Company, from Saturday April 16, 2022, which will not be considered as written questions within the meaning of the regulations, on the broadcast of the General Meeting available on the loreal-finance.com website. These questions will be answered during the General Meeting, on the basis of a representative selection of subjects which have caught the attention of shareholders. They will be answered within the allotted time. It is specified that priority will be given to answers to questions addressed by shareholders physically present at the General Meeting.

Shareholders are invited to regularly consult the section dedicated to the General Meeting on the loreal-finance.com website, in order to have access to all the updated information concerning this General Meeting.

2021 UNIVERSAL REGISTRATION DOCUMENT

The 2021 Universal Registration Document was filed with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), in ESEF format, on Thursday March 17, 2022. It is accessible to the public under the regulatory conditions in force and can be consulted on the website loreal – finance.com website (Regulated Information / Universal Registration Document section).

The Universal Registration Document includes the Annual Financial Report, an Integrated Report, the Reports of the Statutory Auditors and their fees, as well as the information necessary for the share buyback program.
