At the Dawsonville City Council meeting last week, the mayor and council members recognized the city’s September Employee of the Month, the Third Quarter Employee, and presented service awards to four of the city employees.
The board recognized finance administrator Robin Gazaway as the employee of the month for September, and then recognized her as the employee in the third quarter as well. They presented him with certificates for both achievements.
“[Gazaway’s] the financial expertise is unmatched, it learned our systems quickly and made many improvements, ”said City Manager Bob Bolz. “Her teamwork attitude and personal outlook fit in well with our winning team and make them better. ”
In addition to recognizing Gazaway, the council recognized four city employees for their years of dedication and continued work to make the city a better place: utility processing plant operator Kyle Richardson for one year of City Service, Warden Jon Davis for three years of service, planning and zoning Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer Clay Moss for three years and Director of Human Resources Donna Blanton for four years of service.
The four employees received October service awards by the mayor and council members at their meeting.
