Job description :

J2846 – Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager, Healthcare & Clean Tech to build business relationships with suppliers and partners, build new business relationships and develop newly acquired partners across the UK.

Salary: Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, flexible.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiate, develop and grow new business relationships using a range of contacts, referrals and direct channels: to have the confidence to cold call, to use social media intuitively and to network for good referrals.

  • Design and lead your own marketing initiatives to formulate sales goals, demonstrating ingenuity and self-motivation.

  • A deep understanding of the ‘lead funnel’ and respect for the time it takes to nurture and develop relationships at every stage.

  • A deep understanding of partner supply chain, ‘best practice’ routes, policies and compliance issues, coupled with a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent account management experience including pipeline and portfolio management, data analysis and multi-level contact strategies

  • Able to identify and penetrate new healthcare and clean technology markets, keep abreast of new developments in the sector and promote our services as the solution to customer needs

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Experienced in working on complex structured transactions.

  • Preferably, training in the health and / or clean technology sectors.

  • Proven track record of building exceptional business relationships with trust, tenacity and attention to detail.

  • First-hand knowledge of asset finance or related areas, with an emphasis on interaction with dealers and sellers.

  • Extensive experience working on contract negotiations, including handling complex terms and conditions.

  • Demonstrated communication skills at all levels of the company, particularly at senior management and director level.

  • Experience in the health and cleantech sectors.

  • Have a scientific or environmental training.

  • Due to the need to travel across the country, a base in central UK would be helpful but not necessary.

We strongly favor candidates with proven and relevant experience in financial services; in particular in Asset Finance and Leasing.
