J2847 – Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to manage accounts receivable, supplier, and manufacturer ensuring sales targets are met. You will also ensure that stakeholders receive exceptional service and that all business is handled in accordance with company policy.

Salary: £ 45,000 – £ 50,000 plus bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Thames Valley / Berks (hybrid operation)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new customers, new partnerships, or new products and services.

  • Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.

  • Build relationships with new clients, assess their needs and develop proposals to meet those needs.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.

  • Presentation of sales and products to new and existing customers.

  • Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay on top of trends.

  • Create sales forecasts and actively work to achieve them.

  • Increase the profitability of the business by working on sales targets.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to stay engaged with our customers promoting existing and new products.

  • Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to create long-lasting and profitable relationships.

  • Be an integral part of the company’s diversification through various types of assets in new markets

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Business-to-business / dealer sales experience preferred.

  • B2B / Broker marketing experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong customer / reseller relationship skills.

  • An understanding of the asset finance market and a variety of assets.

  • Good writing and numeracy skills.

We strongly favor candidates with proven and relevant experience in financial services; in particular in Asset Finance and Leasing.
