DENVER, October 13, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Vectra Bank Colorado is pleased to welcome Ryan morrill to the municipal finance team. Morrill will assume the role of Municipal Financial Relations Manager, serving Vectra Bank’s footprint through Colorado and New Mexico.
Morrill will work with government entities, city councilors, bond agents, trustees and government associations to identify, structure and fund tax-exempt and taxable transactions to meet capital needs. This will help fund community projects such as new schools, fire stations, and utility projects. He can not only help in the loan department but also for the cash management needs. He hopes to bring a consultative approach to working with municipalities through the Vectra footprint to build trust and maintain mutually beneficial relationships for municipalities and the bank.
Morill brings six years of experience in municipal lending and understands the nuances and regulatory requirements of lending to municipalities. He graduated from Metropolitan State College holder of a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2011, and has worked in the banking sector since then. His most recent roles include as Vice President of Public Finance at Academy Bank and Public Finance and Nonprofit Portfolio Manager at NBH Bank.
Morrill lived in Colorado since 1993 and enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hiking and boating with her children. He attended sporting events and coached his son in football and baseball.
